Why Do We Exist?

In many countries in the Far East , a public education requires families to pay fees for books, tuition, school uniforms, and other expenses. And to many poor families it is not possible to support their children to finish a secondary education. These children may otherwise be forced to discontinue studies due to extreme financial hardship.

The Far East Educational Foundation would like to help those poor students by providing financial assistance to cover those educational expenses. Through FEEF educational scholarship program, students can attend and finish a secondary education and will have a chance to break out of the cycle of poverty. Studies show a strong correlation between education and economic growth in developing countries.

What Impact Does My Support Create ?
Your support will give a number of poor students the opportunity to finish a secondary education and advance towards an enhanced life. Success in this initiative will help our organization to extend support to less funded educational institutions in the region.

How Does It work?
When you purchase a gift certificate you are actually making a charity contribution to this initiative . The net proceeds of every contributions are pooled and structured to long-term endowed accounts that in turn provide a perpetual source of income. As only the ineterest amount is used the principal amount is never touched, making every donations truly a ‘gift of a lifetime’.
